How to get benefit of the latest blender’s software improvements?

The improvements are performed through the firmware update.

What is a Firmware?

A firmware is a specific program integrated into a device that can manage all electrical components and functions of the device. For example, the motor speed control, LCD display, keyboard touch, the lights, the safeties....

What is the interest to perform the firmware update?

Each update is either:

• a correction of a minor or major problem encountered by customers
• a change requested by one user and useful for the others
• optimization of device parameters ...

Any new version improves the functionality and therefore the reliability of the device.

In case of problems with the device, it is therefore strongly advised to install the latest firmware before contacting customer service.

Note: The latest version includes all previous changes. It is not necessary to load the intermediate versions.

Should I make the updates even if the unit is working properly?

It is strongly recommended to update and use the latest Firmware of the device because the last version includes all the improvements that have a real benefit for the device and the user.

Note: Displaying the version of the firmware is only available since version # 1.04.
